Open Account → Appointments, pick the appointment, and cancel it. If your slot is still 6 or more hours away, your refund is issued automatically. Inside 6 hours there is no automatic refund — you can submit a refund request and the team reviews it. HealAssist never charges a cancellation fee.
Plans change. Cancelling a HealAssist appointment takes a moment — and what happens to your money depends on one thing: how far away your slot still is.
How do you cancel an appointment?
Open Account → Appointments
Sign in and open your appointments. Each one shows its hospital, doctor, and slot time.
Cancel the appointment
Choose to cancel, then confirm. HealAssist asks for nothing else — no reason, no form.
Your refund follows automatically — if you are 6+ hours out
Cancel with 6 or more hours to go and the refund is issued for you, with nothing more to do. Inside 6 hours, see below.
What happens to your money

| Less than 6 hours before your slot | The appointment is cancelled, but no automatic refund is issued. You can submit a refund request and the team reviews it individually — we cannot promise the outcome in advance. |
Does HealAssist charge a cancellation fee?
No. HealAssist never charges a cancellation fee. Hospitals may apply their own late-cancellation policy when notice is very short, which is separate from anything HealAssist charges — and HealAssist charges nothing.
