Track your treatment case

A HealAssist case is the record of one course of treatment, and it opens automatically when you book. Find it under My cases in your account: it shows the stage your treatment has reached and when it opened. The case page is for tracking — to send documents or ask a question, contact your HealAssistant.
A case is how HealAssist keeps one course of treatment together — your booking, your admission, your pre-authorisation and your final bill, all under one record. You do not have to open one: it opens by itself when you book.
Where do I find my case?
Open My cases in your HealAssist account. Each case shows the stage it has reached and the date it opened. Open one to see its detail.
You have one active case per specialty at a time, so a second procedure in the same specialty continues on the same case rather than starting a new one. Cases are labelled by a reference number rather than by the name of the specialty, so if you are being treated in more than one, the opening date is the surest way to tell them apart.
What do the case stages mean?
The stage tells you how far your treatment has travelled. Early stages cover your booking and admission. Middle stages cover the pre-authorisation your insurer or scheme has to approve, and the procedure itself. Later stages cover discharge, the final bill and its settlement. A case ends when it is closed.
If a stage looks wrong or has not moved when you expected it to, ask your HealAssistant — the stage is updated by the team handling your treatment.
