How to raise a formal grievance

हिन्दी में पढ़ेंQuick answer
Go to the Grievance page and file it. Give an email address or a phone number — either is enough. You will get a reference number and a date by which HealAssist must resolve it: within 48 hours it is acknowledged, and within 30 days resolved.
A grievance is not the same as a complaint. A complaint is how you tell HealAssist that something went wrong with your booking or your treatment. A grievance is the formal channel, with a Grievance Officer, a legal clock and a reference number — and it is the right one to use when your concern is about your personal data, or when a complaint has not been dealt with properly.
How to file
Open the Grievance page
You do not need to be signed in to a HealAssist account.
Give your name, a way to reach you, and what happened
An email address or a phone number — either one. Then a subject and a description of the problem.
Save the reference number
This is the important step. The screen shows a grievance reference and the date by which HealAssist must resolve it. Keep the reference — you will need it for any follow-up or escalation, and there is no page where you can look it up later.
What happens after you file
HealAssist acknowledges your grievance within 48 hours and resolves it within 30 days. If you gave an email address, the acknowledgement is emailed to you and it names the Grievance Officer. If you filed with only a phone number, the confirmation screen is your acknowledgement — which is why saving that reference matters.
When your grievance is resolved, how you hear depends on how you filed. If you were signed in, the outcome appears in your HealAssist notifications. If you gave an email address, it is emailed to you. If you filed while signed out AND gave only a phone number, HealAssist has no way to reach you with the outcome — so quote your reference number and ask, or file while signed in if you can.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome
The acknowledgement names HealAssist’s Grievance Officer, who is your first point of escalation. Beyond that, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India, or currently the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Quote your grievance reference.
