A HealAssist scheme eligibility check asks a person to confirm whether a government health scheme actually covers your treatment. On HealAssist a government scheme sits alongside insurers and TPAs as a payer — you pick it the same way, and the schemes you can choose come from the live HealAssist payer directory.

Sign in to your HealAssist account
An eligibility check is tied to your account, so you need to be signed in to submit one or to attach a document.
Choose "government scheme" and pick your scheme
Pick the scheme you are covered under. A government scheme cannot be combined with private insurance or a TPA on the same request — if you want your private policy checked too, submit a separate request for it.
Add the procedure or condition
Every eligibility check needs either the specific procedure or the condition being treated.
Attach your scheme card and supporting documents
Your scheme card number is optional, but adding it gives the team more to work with. You can attach your scheme card, an ID document, or your doctor’s prescription — the form takes your documents when you submit, so include what you have.
Submit and wait for the answer
HealAssist responds within 48 hours. Your recent requests and their status appear in your HealAssist account.
What happens after you submit a scheme eligibility check
A HealAssist team member checks your scheme coverage and updates the request. If the answer is that you are not eligible, the app does not show you the reason — contact your HealAssistant, who can explain it and go through your options with you.
