PMJAY (Ayushman Bharat) is one of the government schemes HealAssist supports. You can check whether it covers your treatment with a HealAssist eligibility check, answered within 48 hours. If you are covered, your HealAssistant verifies the hospital’s empanelment, handles the scheme paperwork, and coordinates your admission.
Ayushman Bharat, also called PMJAY, is a central-government health scheme. On HealAssist it is a payer, like an insurer or a TPA: you can check whether it covers a procedure, see published scheme package rates where HealAssist holds them, and have your HealAssistant coordinate a scheme admission.
How to use PMJAY on HealAssist
Check that PMJAY covers your treatment
Submit a HealAssist eligibility check, choose "government scheme", and pick Ayushman Bharat. HealAssist responds within 48 hours.
Look at the scheme package rates
Government schemes publish package rates, and HealAssist shows them where it holds them. This is a scheme-only surface — commercial insurers do not publish rate cards.
Let your HealAssistant verify the hospital
Whether a hospital is empanelled for the scheme, and will admit you under it, is something a person confirms with the hospital. Your HealAssistant does that before you travel.
Your admission is coordinated for you
Your HealAssistant handles the empanelment verification, the bed, and the scheme paperwork, so you are not turned away at the counter.
