My payment failed while booking. What do I do?

हिन्दी में पढ़ेंQuick answer
HealAssist shows you a payment-failed screen, and it tells you which of two situations you are in: your slot is still held, in which case retry straight away — or your slot has been released, in which case pick another time. Both routes are on that screen, along with a support link.
A card gets declined, UPI times out, the bank asks for one authentication too many. It is common, and on HealAssist it does not cost you your appointment slot.
What to do when a payment fails
Try the payment again
If the screen says your slot is still held, tap Try Payment Again. You can retry up to five times — enough for a bank having a bad minute — and you can switch to a different card or to UPI in the process. If the slot has already been released, this button will not help you; pick another time instead.
Or pick a different time
If you would rather come back to it, choose Pick Different Time. That releases the slot and takes you back to the slot picker.
Or contact support from that screen
The failure screen carries a support link that already has your payment reference attached, so you do not have to find it or explain it.
I closed the payment window and nothing happened
That is expected, and nothing has broken. If you close the payment window without paying, HealAssist simply takes you back to the booking screen without a message. Your slot stays held until the hold runs out, so you can pay straight away, or pick a new time.
