Not happy with your consultation? Get a second one, free

If your first consultation left you unsatisfied, ask your HealAssistant for a second opinion. HealAssist arranges it with another specialist and you pay no second consultation fee. There is no button for this in the app — it is arranged by a person, so you have to ask.
A consultation can leave you no clearer than you started — the doctor was rushed, the plan did not make sense, or something simply did not sit right. You do not have to pay a second time to get a second view.
How to get your second consultation
Tell your HealAssistant you are not satisfied
Contact your HealAssistant and say the first consultation did not resolve things for you. You do not need to justify it at length or prove the doctor was at fault.
HealAssist finds you another specialist
HealAssist arranges the second consultation with a different specialist of equivalent standing, rather than sending you back to the same doctor.
You pay no second consultation fee
The consultation itself costs you nothing extra. That is the promise: a second opinion at no extra consultation cost.
What the free second consultation covers — and what it does not
What is covered is the consultation: you are not charged a second consultation fee to see the second specialist. What is not covered is everything the second doctor may then go on to order — tests, scans, or the procedure itself. Those are priced as they normally would be. HealAssist covers the cost of the second opinion, not the cost of acting on it.
What if the doctor becomes unavailable, rather than unsatisfactory?
That is a different situation with its own commitment. If your doctor becomes unavailable, HealAssist prioritises rebooking you with an equivalent specialist. You do not need to claim a second opinion for that — you have not had your first consultation yet.
