Delete your HealAssist account
Last reviewed
हिन्दी में पढ़ेंQuick answer
Go to healassist.in/account/erasure-request and ask for your account to be deleted. HealAssist then sends you a confirmation — a link by email, or a code to your mobile if your account has no email address. Once you confirm, there is a 7-day cooling-off period before your account is erased, and you can cancel at any time before that.
You can delete your HealAssist account yourself. It is deliberately not a single click: you confirm that it is really you, and then you get a week to change your mind.
How to delete your HealAssist account
Ask for deletion
Sign in and go to healassist.in/account/erasure-request, reachable from Account → Security & data. Tell HealAssist why, if you want to — it is not required.
Confirm that it is you
If your HealAssist account has an email address, HealAssist emails you a confirmation link. If it does not — and many patients sign up with just a mobile number — HealAssist sends a confirmation code to your mobile instead. Either way it is valid for 15 minutes, so do this straight away.
Wait out the 7-day cooling-off period
Once you confirm, HealAssist waits 7 days before erasing anything. Nothing is deleted during this week.
Change your mind at any point
Go back to the deletion page and cancel. You can cancel at any stage — whether or not you have confirmed yet — right up until the erasure is carried out.
