Will STOP also stop my booking confirmations?

No. Replying STOP stops HealAssist marketing messages. Messages about something you actually did — a booking, a payment, an appointment — are part of the service and are not marketing.

Do I need an account to unsubscribe?

No. Replying STOP works without an account, and so does the unsubscribe link in a HealAssist marketing email. Neither asks you to sign in.

Can I have my details deleted entirely?

Stopping messages and deleting your data are different requests. Contact HealAssist support and ask for erasure — if you have a HealAssist account, you can also do it yourself from Security in your account.

STOP is per channel, not per person

HealAssist treats SMS, WhatsApp and email as three separate permissions. Replying STOP to an SMS stops marketing SMS — it does not stop marketing WhatsApp to the very same number, and it does not stop marketing email. Each one has to be told separately: STOP on SMS, STOP on WhatsApp, and the unsubscribe link for email.

What if I change my mind?

Reply START or RESUME to the same HealAssist number and marketing messages turn back on. Nothing is deleted when you stop — the record of your choice is kept, which is exactly why the reverse also works.

Is it worth making an account instead?

If you expect to keep using HealAssist, yes — a HealAssist account adds per-channel notification settings, a consent history showing everything you have ever agreed to, and the ability to download or delete your data. But you do not need one just to stop messages: STOP and the unsubscribe link both work without an account.
