Can I choose which wallet credit to spend?

No, and you do not need to. HealAssist always spends the credit that expires soonest first, so the credit most at risk of running out is the credit that gets used.

My payment failed after I applied wallet credit. Have I lost it?

No. Your wallet credit is set aside while a payment is in progress, not taken. When the payment fails, it is released back into your HealAssist wallet. If you abandoned the payment part-way — by closing the window rather than letting it fail — the credit stays set aside until HealAssist reconciles the abandoned payment, so give it some time before worrying.

Is my wallet credit applied automatically?

No. You choose whether to use it at checkout. Leave it switched off and your wallet is untouched.

If you have several lots of HealAssist wallet credit — some from a referral, some refunded to you — the order they are spent in decides whether any of it goes to waste.

Soonest-expiring credit is spent first. Credit with no expiry date is spent last. Where two lots expire on the same day, the older one goes first.

That order is deliberate and it favours you: it means credit with a deadline gets used before it can run out, while credit that will keep forever waits its turn. You do not have to think about it, and there is no setting to change — HealAssist simply always spends in the order that wastes the least.

How your wallet fits into a payment

At checkout, any offer discount comes off first. Then your HealAssist wallet credit is applied, if you choose to use it. Only whatever is left after that is charged to your card, UPI or netbanking.

Using your wallet is a choice you make on the checkout screen. If you leave it switched off, your wallet is untouched and you pay the full amount by card or UPI.

A failed payment does not eat your credit

While a payment is going through, your wallet credit is set aside rather than taken. It only becomes a real deduction once the card or UPI part succeeds. If the payment fails, the credit is released back into your HealAssist wallet. If you simply close the payment window instead of finishing or failing, the release is not immediate — HealAssist frees the credit up when it reconciles the abandoned payment, so your available balance can look low in the meantime.
