Where does my HealAssist wallet credit come from?

Credit reaches your HealAssist wallet five ways: welcome credit for signing up, referral credit, money refunded to your wallet, cashback, and adjustments made by HealAssist support. Referral credit always expires. Welcome credit, refunds and cashback carry no expiry date.
Your HealAssist wallet balance is not one pot — it is made of separate credits, each from a different source. That matters, because some of those sources put a deadline on the money and some do not.
The five sources of HealAssist wallet credit
| Where it came from | Does it expire? |
|---|---|
| Welcome credit — for creating your account with your mobile number | No expiry date. |
| Referral credit — you referred someone and they made their first payment, or you signed up using a friend’s code | Yes — 90 days after it is granted. |
| A refund returned to your wallet | No expiry date. |
| Cashback, when a hospital bill is paid through HealAssist | No expiry date. |
| An adjustment made by HealAssist support | Usually no expiry date — but HealAssist support is able to set one when they add the credit. If a member of the team credits your wallet, ask them whether it expires. |
