Getting your HealAssist receipt — and the GST question

Go to Account → Receipts. Every payment you have made through HealAssist is there, and you can open any of them and download a PDF. There is no GST line on a HealAssist receipt — the receipt itself states that healthcare services are exempt from GST under clinical-establishment provisions.
Every payment you make through HealAssist produces a receipt, and every receipt is in your account. You do not have to ask for one, and you do not have to keep an email.
How to get your receipt
Open Account → Receipts
Every payment you have made through HealAssist is listed there. Refunds appear in the same list too, as credit notes.
Open the one you want and download the PDF
If you have only just paid, the PDF may still be being prepared for a moment. HealAssist tells you when that is the case rather than showing an error — wait a few seconds and try again.
Some rows in the list are hospital bills rather than HealAssist receipts, and those have no PDF at all. See below.
What your receipt does carry
The receipt PDF carries HealAssist’s legal name, its registered address, its CIN and its PAN, along with what you paid, any discount applied, any HealAssist wallet credit you used, and the amount actually charged to your card or UPI. That is enough to use it as a record — for an insurer, an employer, or your own files.
Why does one row have no PDF?
Your receipts list also shows hospital bills that HealAssist never issued a receipt for — a bill you have not paid yet, for instance, or one that was settled directly at the hospital rather than through HealAssist. There is no HealAssist receipt behind those rows, so there is no PDF to download, and waiting will not produce one. For a copy of a bill you settled at the hospital, ask the hospital.
Getting your receipt by email
HealAssist emails you a copy of your receipt only if there is an email address on your account. If you signed up with just your mobile number — which is the normal way — no receipt email is sent to you, and that is not a fault. Your receipts are all in your HealAssist account regardless. If you would like emailed copies, add an email address in Account.
