Is the document list on the scheme page the full requirement?

It is what that scheme usually asks for, written as guidance. The scheme itself makes the final call, and your HealAssistant will tell you if your case needs anything more.

Where can I see the documents I uploaded?

On the Insurance coverage check page in your HealAssist account — scheme requests are listed there too, for your five most recent coverage requests. Each file has a Remove button, and a Download button once it has passed its virus check.

My file will not upload. Why?

It is probably the size: each file must be 10 MB or smaller. A PDF, a JPG or a PNG is always accepted. If your phone saves photos in some other format and the upload will not take it, send a screenshot of the document instead.

Every government scheme runs on paper. The good news is that the list is short and you probably already have most of it; the part worth getting right is how it reaches HealAssist, and what happens to it afterwards.

How do I send my scheme documents?

Check what your scheme asks for
Each scheme page on HealAssist lists the documents that scheme usually wants — your scheme card, an identity document, sometimes a referral. Treat it as a guide, not a guarantee: the scheme, not HealAssist, decides what is enough.
Attach them to a coverage request
Start the coverage check from your scheme’s page and attach your documents there — that form takes several files at once, and it is the same upload HealAssist uses for insurance and TPA documents. The shorter form inside your account takes one file at submit, but you can add more afterwards from Recent coverage checks for as long as the request is still open.
Send a clear photo or a PDF
A PDF, or a JPG or PNG photo from your phone — up to 10 MB each. Every file is checked for viruses. If that check cannot be completed, HealAssist keeps the file but will not open it, and you will need to send it again.

You can see, re-download, remove and add to what you sent

Open Insurance coverage check in your HealAssist account — government-scheme requests appear there too. Your five most recent coverage requests each list the files attached to them, with a Remove button on every file. Removing a file deletes it for good, and HealAssist cannot bring it back, so keep the original on your phone. You will need it at the hospital anyway.

An Add a document button sits under the same list while a request is still open — including when HealAssist has come back asking for more information, which is exactly when you need it. Once the request has been decided or closed, the button is gone: a decided request does not take new files.

A Download button appears only once a file has passed its virus check. If a file could not be checked, HealAssist will not open it — for you or for its own staff — and the answer is to remove that file and send it again.

What happens after I send them?

The HealAssist team works your coverage request with the hospital, and coordinates the admission with them. If something is missing or unreadable, they will come back to you — which is another reason the phone number on your account should be one that actually reaches you.
