Cost pages: what a procedure costs before you enquire

हिन्दी में पढ़ेंQuick answer
A HealAssist cost page lists real hospitals in one city and what each charges for one procedure — a band where the price varies, or a "From" figure where it does not. The numbers are the hospitals’ own tariffs, refreshed hourly. Your own price is fixed only when you get a quote and book.
Most people want the number before they want the phone call. A HealAssist cost page exists for exactly that moment — you can see what hospitals near you charge without giving anybody your details.
What is on a cost page?
Real hospitals in one city, each with what it charges for that one procedure. Where a hospital’s price varies — by room, by technique, by what is included — you see a band. Where there is a single starting price, you see "From" that figure.
These are the hospitals’ own tariffs. Beneath the list HealAssist also shows the average starting price across the hospitals listed there — an average of that page, not a "typical cost in India", and never a number invented where a hospital has given none.
How do I turn a cost page into a real price?
Find your procedure in your city
Cost pages are per-procedure and per-city, because that is how prices actually differ — the same operation is not the same price two cities apart.
Look at the spread, not just the lowest
The cheapest row is not automatically the right one. What is included differs between hospitals, and that is precisely what a quote spells out and a cost page cannot.
Get a quote for the hospitals you shortlist
A quote is where a price becomes yours: your procedure, your options, and a price that locks when you book.
