The HealAssist welcome credit

HealAssist adds welcome credit to your wallet when you create your account by verifying your mobile number. Signing up with Google does not grant it. If you sign up using a referral code you get the referral reward instead — one or the other, never both. Welcome credit does not expire.
HealAssist gives new patients a welcome credit in their HealAssist wallet. There are two things worth knowing before you sign up, because both are decided at that moment and cannot be undone afterwards.
A referral code replaces the welcome credit
If someone gave you a HealAssist referral code and you sign up with it, you receive the referral reward instead of the welcome credit. You get one or the other, never both.
The two also behave differently afterwards, which is worth knowing: referral credit expires 90 days after it is granted, while welcome credit does not expire at all.
How to spend your welcome credit
It sits in your HealAssist wallet, and you can see it at Account → Wallet. At booking checkout you choose whether to apply your wallet credit — it is not applied automatically. Applying it reduces what you pay by card or UPI.
Because welcome credit never expires, there is no rush to spend it. If you also hold referral credit, HealAssist spends the expiring credit first, so your welcome credit is not used up ahead of credit that has a deadline.
