My referral has said "Waiting for first payment" for weeks. Is it stuck?

Almost certainly not. That status simply means your friend has not paid for anything on HealAssist yet. Signing up is not enough to release your reward — their first payment is. There is no time limit you need to worry about on your side.

What does "Under review" mean? Have I done something wrong?

No. Referral rewards are checked before they are credited, and some are held briefly for that check. You do not need to take any action. If you think a reward has been held for too long, contact HealAssist support with your referral code.

A friend signed up with my code but is not on my list.

The most common reason is that your friend created their account without entering the code — a referral cannot be linked afterwards. A referral can also be absent because it did not pass the check that runs before a reward is credited. Your screen will not tell you which of the two it was, so contact HealAssist support with your referral code if you believe it was used.

Your HealAssist referral screen shows a status against each person you referred. The statuses look similar, but they mean quite different things — and the most common confusion is a fair one: your friend is rewarded before you are.

Why did my friend get their reward before I got mine?

Because the two rewards are triggered by different things. Your friend’s reward is a signing-up reward — it is credited to them the moment they create their HealAssist account with your code, with nothing else required. Your reward is a different one: it depends on your friend actually using HealAssist, and it is credited after their first successful payment.

That first payment does not have to be an appointment booking — buying a voucher counts too.

HealAssist referral rewards are not a single flat amount — what you earn can change as you refer more people. Your referral screen always shows the current amounts for you and for the friend you refer, which is why they are not printed in this article.

Referral credit expires 90 days after it is granted

Once a referral reward is credited to your HealAssist wallet, spend it within 90 days. This applies to referral credit specifically — it is not a rule about every kind of credit in your wallet.
